Chlamydia? Chlymidia is a common misspelling of chlamydia.
Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease that affects both men and women. It is caused by bacteria called Chlamydia trachomatis and is transmitted during vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Most infected individuals show no symptoms; when symptoms do occur, they often include a burning sensation during urination and abnormal discharge from the penis or vagina. Treatment for chlamydia usually consists of taking antibiotics to cure the infection.
